A 2019 FLC student voter who is showing off his registered voter sticker.
Students at FLC are reaching the age of being able to vote. Some may be wondering how they can become a registered voter, and where to go when the time comes to vote.
- In Philadelphia, you must be 18 or older to vote. In order for you to be eligible to vote, you must submit your voter registration application. The application has to be sent to the city commissioner offices no later than 15 days before the next. The next election is November 7, 2023. When registering, you could vote online or in-person. When voting online, you can go to the PA State Department to register. In person, you can go to one of these locations:
- Registration Office 520 N Columbus Blvd, 5th Floor Philadelphia, PA 19123 or
- Philadelphia County Board of Elections City Hall, Room 142 1400 JFK Blvd Philadelphia, PA 19107.
During this process, it’s a good idea to know about who you are voting for and what they might bring to the table. When voting, always make the right decision that best relates to the change and improvements in the city you’re living in.
When the time comes will you be prepared to be a New Registered Voter?
