Franklin Learning Center’s staff, students, and parents rallied outside of their school building this morning to stand protest against a district budget that will cause FLC to lose 9 teachers next year. FLC is not alone in losing teachers. Other magnet schools from around the district are scheduled to lose teachers next year as well. Teachers, parents and students from affected schools across the district plan to protest the cuts on Thursday at 440 N Broad St. at 3:30 PM before the Board of Education’s meeting begins.
