Climate Change Protest

On May 3rd, a climate change strike was held in Center City where students from all schools walked-out of class in the morning to protest against climate change. Students held posters, did chants, and stood in silence for 11 minutes.

FLCs class of 2023 celebrated their 49th annual commencement graduation ceremony on June 9th at The Irvine Auditorium. The ceremony featured music from DeAryah Ayers and Universal Language, a commencement address by Dr. Daniel A. Lee, and a speech by Salutatorian Jenna McKenzie. The program also featured a scholarship presentation by Megan Condit, presentation of program certificates by Dr. Latrina Stewart and Dr. Xavier Brown, and a speech by Valedictorian Kindred Brix. The program concluded with a message from Principal Nicole Lee and the conferring of diplomas.
