SDP cites staffing issues, closes all schools for two weeks

The School District of Philadelphia is closing all schools through March 27, 2020. Students are being urged to take home all materials and medications. Future updates will be made at www.philasd.org/coronavirus. The following letter was distributed to students at 2:30PM today.

FLCs class of 2023 celebrated their 49th annual commencement graduation ceremony on June 9th at The Irvine Auditorium. The ceremony featured music from DeAryah Ayers and Universal Language, a commencement address by Dr. Daniel A. Lee, and a speech by Salutatorian Jenna McKenzie. The program also featured a scholarship presentation by Megan Condit, presentation of program certificates by Dr. Latrina Stewart and Dr. Xavier Brown, and a speech by Valedictorian Kindred Brix. The program concluded with a message from Principal Nicole Lee and the conferring of diplomas.
